The Samsung Galaxy S10 is a good-looking smartphone that can't be denied. Samsung used high-quality materials in the construction process. You get an aluminum frame sandwiched between Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the front and Gorilla Glass 5 on the back. This also helps to some extent the phone resists scratches in daily use.
The Galaxy S10 has a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display between the 5.8-inch display of the Samsung Galaxy S10e (Review) and the 6.4-inch display of the Samsung Galaxy S10 + (Review). Since it is a quad HD + panel, it launches 550ppi, which is denser than the Galaxy S10 +. The display is also HDR10 + certified, so you can enjoy HDR content on it. Just like the Galaxy S10 +, you can use an ultrasonic display fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S10.
The footprint of the Galaxy S10 is small, and the round aluminum frame makes it comfortable to hold. It has a SIM card tray and a microphone on top. At the bottom, it has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker, and a main microphone. The back of the Galaxy S10 is a fingerprint magnet, and you have to wipe it often or put it in a transparent plastic box in the box.
Samsung has a screen saver pre-installed on the display, which you may or may not like, but at least you don't have to look for a screen saver that works with the in-display fingerprint scanner. There is also a Bixby button on the right that can be used to trigger Samsung's voice assistant. You can also choose to set one or two keys to launch a different application, as long as the other options still trigger Bixby, as we mentioned in the Galaxy S10 + review.
